"Nahmens was a danish sailor who became a rich wine and salt merchant. He was a consul for several countries and took his part in the development of our port city in the 19th century.
Discover the town and its history walking with him alongside the canals and docks and through the town center."
  • Visits all year round, days and times according to the calendar.

    • Full price : 15,00€
    • Student rate and young people under 18 : 10,00€
    • Children from 5 to 12 years old : 6,00€
    • Free for children up to and including 4 years old (no ticket issued)
  • Departure :
    • Beginning of the Môle Saint-Louis in Sète.  
  • Tour route :
    • It will start at the beginning of the Môle St Louis before passing by the quay Licciardi (2nd house of Nahmens) then the bridge of the soap factory, the quay of Alger and the 3rd house of Nahmens of the quay Samary, the place Delille, the quay of the Republic, the quay Rhin and Danube, the bridge of the Civette, the house of the circle of trade on the quay of Bosc, the place of Briand, the high district to finish (on the grave of Nahmens visits in the morning only) at the marine cemetery. 
    • The whole will be presented as it was at the end of the 19th century. 
  • Special requirements :
    • Please bring suitable footwear for walking. 
    • Postponement or cancellation possible depending on the weather. 
    • Minimum 5 people.
